PHILOXENIA – the Greek word for hospitality – is one of the most significant exhibitions organized by HELEXPO. For the Greek and Southeastern Tourism Industry it is one of the most recognizable brands and the longest running tourism exhibition of Greece for more than 30 consecutive years now.
Philoxenia is the absolute destination for all international operators of the tourism sector. The most significant, the longest running and the largest tourism fair in the country, welcomes trade visitors and public in November 8-10, 2019 at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center.
In 2018, the 34th edition of PHILOXENIA held last November had an increase in the number of its trade visitors, while the total number of visitors of Philoxenia and Hotelia reached 20,000.
PHILOXENIA is organized with the support and under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Tourism with the participation as an exhibitor of the Greek National Tourism Organization, along with all the major national tourism bodies i.e. SETE, HATTA, HHF, HCoH.

The strongest exhibition “duet” for tourism and professional equipment will be held once again at the International Exhibition and Congress Center of Thessaloniki. 20,000 visitors of last year’s event will offer the perfect background for a succesfull organisation in 2018.
PHILOXENIA Conference focuses on trends, new insights and contemporary themes of the tourism market by inviting famous speakers, who play an influential role in the Greek and international tourist community. At the same time, it is a great opportunity for networking between professionals and academics.
A line of special events held by the participants, in collaboration with the organizers. During the special events, the participating regions and companies organize mini fests which aim at presenting in the best possible way each area, through their local music, gastronomy and other customs. Apart from the pulse and the energy that these events fill Philoxenia with, they provide to the visitors the experience of different parts of a country.
Wishing to support all exhibitors, Philoxenia offers services which will contribute to the exhibitors’ promotion at the international markets. This year, 120 prestigious tourism related buyers will be hosted while in last years edition Philoxenia welcomed 120 Hosted Buyers from 46 countries in the biggest and professionally organized b2b programme in a Balkan tourism exhibition.
The Hosted Buyers programme by Philoxenia is the result of the international connections and co-operations of TIF HELEXPO and is carried out under the supervision of the Exhibitions Research Institute and the auspices of GNTO. Hosted Buyers come from the fields of “Tour Operators”, “MICE”, “Corporate” and “media” and they will arrange meetings, exclusively with the exhibitors.

Space renting without equipment includes: ground trace, cleaning. Electricity provision and connection not included.
Space renting with equipment includes: partitions, front panel with exhibitor’s sign, stand number, one plug/12sq.m, ten electric spots/12sq.m., 1 desk, 1 table, 3 chairs.
A special construction with aluminum structure octanorm maxima (3m) and leather-like panel in white or wenge color, lightbox with trademark, 2 infodesks, a worktop, round tables, 2 stools and chairs, electricity provision and consumption.
Special participation in 6sq.m. stands, equipped with 1 infodesk, 2 stools, a front panel with exhibitor’s brand name, panel partitions, 1 plug and electricity consumption.

b. For spaces of 64-99 sq.m. -> a 15% discount
c. For spaces of 100 sq.m.-149 sq.m. -> a 20% discount
d. For spaces of 150 sq.m. and more -> a 25% discount
