ATHENS INTERNATIONAL TOURISM EXPO 2020

The AIT Expo in Athens is the main meeting point for the companies involved with inbound tourism in Greece for successful new partnerships between Exhibitors, Hosted Buyers and Visitors.

AIT Expo after 6 successful years it has become the meeting point of travel professionals interested in the Greek market. In 2020 AIT Expo will host 150+ Hosted Buyers as well as non Hosted Buyers offering them the chance of mutually profitable business in the Greek and Southeastern European and Mediterranean markets.

The 2019 exhibition was attended by 260 Exhibitors from Greece and from other countries, such as Cyprus, China, India, Serbia, Bulgaria, Israel, Morocco, Germany, Malaysia and Egypt.

Buyers originate from sectors including corporate meeting and association planners; venue finding, event management and marketing agencies; company executives; executive assistants; the not-for-profit and public sectors.

The exhibition is gradually evolving into a major International Tourism Fair in Greece bringing together exhibitors and visitors from many countries, giving annually in Athens the place it deserves as a Tourism Hub in the Mediterranean and Southern Europe area. Mediterranean / South Europe is one of the biggest receptive tourism destination in the world.

Therefore, professionals from all Mediterranean / South Europe countries should work close together to offer combined packages to these travelers. The Athens International Tourism Expo 2020 provides the ground for such co-operations among these tourism professionals in order to network and create these combined packages.
