The Meetings Show is the only show in the UK with a hosted buyer program, delivering hundreds of pre-qualified buyers to take part in over 10,800 pre-scheduled appointments over the two days of the show.

The hosted buyer team are in regular contact with high level MICE buyers and in 2018, over 55% of our hosted buyers placed more than 11 events per year outside of the UK.
The British Meeting & Events Industry 2016/2017, where The Meetings Show was listed as the number one visited trade show by UK MICE buyers, reported the average group size for a main event was 276 pax, staying for 3 nights (short-haul) with an average 24-hour delegate spending rate of £167 GBP. This demonstrates one “average” meeting could be worth a minimum of £138,276 GBP to Impressive World’s MICE partners and local economy.
Meet Your Target Audience
The Meetings Show is centred around the hosted buyer programme that proactively brings national and international MICE buyers to the London exhibition.
Delegates on the Hosted Buyer programme meet the strict qualifying criteria including level of purchasing authority, annual budget, number of events held annually, and business conducted inbound and/or outbound.
Once buyers are recruited and qualified, The Meetings Show will “host” them at the event by taking care of their flights (or other travel methods) and accommodation. In return, buyers commit to attend pre-scheduled appointments with the exhibitors they are genuinely interested in meeting through a buyer-driven diary system.
